How it Works

The Lumetallix reagent reacts only with lead to form a unique crystal structure that fluoresces green when exposed to a specific wavelength of UV light. This highly sensitive reaction occurs with lead concentrations as low as 200 ppm (parts per million), and the bright green glow makes even microscopic lead dust visible.

How to Use Lumetallix

1. Shine the Leadlight: 

Use the included UV LeadLight to shine on the surface you want to test.

2. Spray or Drip the Reagent: 

While shining the light, spray or drip the Lumetallix reagent onto the tested area.

3. Watch for the Green Glow: 

If lead is present, the surface will immediately transform, glowing bright green, making lead visible to the naked eye.
